Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. Guests will receive a complimentary welcome cheese platter and local bottle of wine. The location is very scenic. To wake up to a sunrise over mountain ranges and the fields across from the lodge was a great experience. There was only one other family at the lodge on the night that we stayed, so we pretty much had the entire house for ourselves. The house was very well maintained. The library, kitchen, patio, the room, everything was just perfect. The hosts welcomed us with a bottle of local wine and cheese and fruits platter. They gave us great information about the area. Everything was just perfect

The lodges 3 guest rooms feature a satellite TV, a fridge, and an en suite bathroom. What a lovely boutique lodge! I’ll definitely be back in summer again. Love the cute native birds in garden and their songs, amazing view from the balcony, delicious homemade cookies and the hosts are very friendly, responsive and attentive.

Some units are air conditioned and include a terrace and/or a balcony, as well as a seating area. The hosts were wonderful - so friendly, approachable and personal. We were even offered breakfast and delivered tea in the morning. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Spires Barn Lodge is a 12-minute drive from the city center. The nearest airport is Christchurch International Airport, which is just a 5-minute drive from the property. Leslie was an incredible host, was very accommodating to our group :)

The lodge offers a terrace. Spacious, clean & comfortable house. Large well stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The view was of both mountains & water. Location is great. Easy to walk both to Kaikoura & South Bay & other tracks. Our host was very responsive & kind. Should we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again, we would definitely stay here again.
